permission isn't just a gift
but necessary part
of deeply felt expression in any form of art
you give me permission
and I'm allowed to be..and do as impulse guides
something coming free
and if the something coming free is permission from me
if your yes helps me take myself to a freer deeper place
there's a sort of quickening of my interior space
and I open to deeper freer more expressive space
your permission quickens me....but
when I permit myself
results expand and
chords result in keys not previously felt
the hue of inner canvas takes life behind the paint
as guidance comes " from nowhere "
as depth
and width
and grace
unreachable without permission
